Recognizing the growing need for user-friendly crypto payment solutions, this wallet empowers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to embrace digital currencies without compromising security or requiring third-party custodial control.

By simplifying the adoption process and addressing complexity and security concerns often associated with digital assets, this platform bridges the gap between traditional commerce and the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Challenges & How We Solved Them

The landscape of existing crypto payment solutions presented significant challenges, as many were either too complex or custodial, requiring merchants to rely on third parties to manage their funds. This reliance introduced security risks and undermined the decentralization that cryptocurrencies promise. The solution recognized an opportunity to empower businesses with a simple, non-custodial wallet, enabling merchants to maintain full control over their assets.

However, the development also faced its own set of challenges, including the onboarding of merchants, navigating compliance with KYC/KYB regulations, and ensuring the security of the wallet. Additionally, there were risks associated with market adoption, potential regulatory changes, and the need to scale the technology effectively.

Business Objectives

The primary objectives are to onboard thousands of merchants within six months, achieve high user satisfaction, and facilitate a steady increase in transaction volumes.

Implementing Our Strategy

The wallet was developed as a mobile-first application using Stellar blockchain components — Stellar Anchors and Stellar Smart Contracts — for non-custodial wallet management. React Native and AWS provided the application layer, with Stellar SDKs for blockchain interaction and Sumsub APIs for KYC/KYB verification.

Security was the top priority throughout development — with robust encryption, secure key storage, and full compliance with industry regulatory standards built into every layer of the application.
